Alan Bass, DPM, FACPM, CPC

Alan Bass, DPM, CPC, FACPM is a Board-Certified podiatrist and CEO of JARALL Medical Management. Dr Bass ran a successful practice in New Jersey until 2024, since finishing his residency in 1994. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Podiatric Medicine as well as the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. In addition he is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) by the American Academy of Professional Coders. He is a frequent lecturer nationwide in the area of medical and business management as well as charting, coding and compliance. Dr Bass also provided business and practice management guidance while previously working as Medical Director for NEMO Health, the previous owners of TRAKnet EHR. With the acquisition of TRAKnet by Modernizing Medicine (ModMed), he also previously served on the Client Advisory Board for Podiatry for ModMed.

Benjamin Cullen, DPM, FACFAS is the Program Director for the Scripps Mercy Podiatric Surgery Residency. He completed his residency training at Kaiser Hayward and graduated from the California School of Podiatric Medicine. Professional interests include arthroscopy, diabetic limb salvage, complex deformity reconstruction, general podiatry, and trauma. He is a national lecturer and enjoys teaching both hands-on skills and general principles. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and being with family.

Kris DiNucci, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Foot & Ankle Surgeon with extensive expertise in advanced surgical and reconstructive procedures. He is the founder of the Foot & Ankle Center of Arizona and has been consistently recognized by his peers as a Top Doc in Phoenix Magazine for over 17 consecutive years. Nationally regarded as a leader in minimally invasive bunion surgery (MIBS), Dr DiNucci has been instrumental in the evolution of 6th generation techniques, lecturing nationally, publishing peer-reviewed research, and training surgeons across the country. His contributions extend beyond clinical care—serving on national boards, consulting for medical device innovation, and advising on the development of new implants and fixation systems. He is the inventor and patent holder of a hand surgery procedure now commonly in use. Dr DiNucci’s practice philosophy emphasizes personalized, patient-centered care that combines surgical precision with the latest advancements in minimally invasive techniques to achieve optimal outcomes. D. DiNucci enjoys spending quality time with his wife, son, and two daughters. He values family time and the balance it brings to his busy surgical career. Each year, he travels throughout Europe, where he combines his passion for history and culture with opportunities to relax and recharge.

Adrienne Estes, DPM, MS, FACFAS, DABPM, FAPWHc is a podiatric surgeon practicing in Southern California. She serves as an Associate Professor at Western University of Health Sciences and is the Director of Continuing Medical Education. Additionally, she practices at Riverside University Health Systems (RUHS). Dr Estes completed her fellowship at the North Jersey Foot & Ankle Fellowship under Dr Michael Subik. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery, complex limb deformity correction, limb salvage, and surgical offloading solutions for diabetic ulcers. She is double board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Since 2016, she has been a fellow of the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing. Dr Estes is also the Chief of Podiatry at RUHS and serves as the clinical site coordinator for outside rotating PGY3 residents. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband. Robert K Lee, DPM is a board-certified podiatric surgeon who offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for ailments affecting the foot and ankle. He has performed over a thousand surgical foot and ankle procedures, including common foot conditions such as bunions, neuromas, and hammertoes, as well as specializing in diabetic limb salvage, Charcot foot reconstruction, tendon repairs, foot and ankle arthritis, and ankle arthroscopy. He is also the current Chief of Podiatric Surgery at the Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. Dr Lee graduated with honors from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He continued his training at a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at the INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia before completing his training with a Lower Extremity Diabetic Limb Salvage Fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington DC. Dr Lee is currently Assistant Clinical Faculty within the David Geffen-UCLA School of Medicine and has been involved with the training of residents and fellows at UCLA Medical Center. He has also lectured for various conferences and seminars on multiple topics. In addition to being a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr Lee has also attained the highest level of board certification offered by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. This certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery has been awarded to less than five percent of podiatrists nationally.

Thomas Rambacher, DPM, FACFAS, FAPWCA is a double board-certified surgeon and wound doctor at Foot Ankle Leg Wound Care Orange County in Mission Viejo, California. He is one of the few wound care specialists and podiatrists in the region who specialize in orthoplastics (flap reconstruction), limb salvage, and highly specialized wound care. Vincent L Rowe, MD is a Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at UCLA. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery, and in the Vascular Surgery specialty, and serves on its Vascular Surgery Board as Chairman for the Vascular Surgery In-Training Examination (VSITE) Committee. Dr Rowe has received numerous teaching awards and has contributed to the surgical literature with over 160 peer reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, and textbook chapters. He is currently the Associate Editor for the main vascular textbook, Rutherford’s Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. His major research interests include lower extremity peripheral arterial disease (PAD), vascular access for hemodialysis, and traumatic vascular injuries. Dr Rowe is active in many surgical societies including a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Surgical Association, and a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery where he serves as the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Chairperson. Jarrod Shapiro, DPM, FACFAS, FACPM is a Board-Certified podiatric foot and ankle physician and surgeon who has been in practice for almost 20 years. He is also a fellow with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Shapiro has taught at Western University of Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine for the past 13 years and is a full professor and associate dean of clinical affairs. He is the residency program director at the Chino Valley Medical Center PMSR/RRA program in Chino, California. Dr Shapiro's training includes a 3-year foot and ankle residency at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan after graduating from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA in 2003. After completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, he did his 3-year postgraduate training at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan from 2003 - 2006. Laura Shin, DPM, PhD, is a reconstructive surgeon and physician-scientist who specializes in podiatry, including foot and ankle deformities, Charcot neuroarthropathy, limb salvage, wound care and diabetic feet and ankles. Her interest in stem cell biology and the potential for using stem cells to repair diabetic wounds, along with her passion for patient care, led her to pursue a dual PhD and DPM degree. In her clinical and research pursuits, Dr Shin is dedicated to preserving and restoring mobility, which she believes is crucial to quality of life. She has a special interest in patients with diabetes and other high-risk conditions. Her research focuses on stem cell regeneration and the body's capacity for healing. In particular, she is examining tissue and stem cell repair in older adults, people with diabetes and people whose immune systems are compromised.
