Gabriel J Halperin, DPM, FACFAS, FAENS, is the president and medical director of California Wound Healing Medical Group located in Los Angeles, California. Dr Halperin graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine and went on to do his residency at Western Medical Center. He is the past president of the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Association and was a board member of the California Podiatric Medical Association. He is presently a member of the Carrier Advisory Committee of Noridian Medicare, and on the Medicare Committee of CPM.

Robert K Lee, DPM is a board-certified podiatric surgeon who offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for ailments affecting the foot and ankle. He has performed over a thousand surgical foot and ankle procedures, including common foot conditions such as bunions, neuromas, and hammertoes, as well as specializing in diabetic limb salvage, Charcot foot reconstruction, tendon repairs, foot and ankle arthritis, and ankle arthroscopy. He is also the current Chief of Podiatric Surgery at the Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. Dr Lee graduated with honors from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He continued his training at a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at the INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia before completing his training with a Lower Extremity Diabetic Limb Salvage Fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington DC. Dr Lee is currently Assistant Clinical Faculty within the David Geffen-UCLA School of Medicine and has been involved with the training of residents and fellows at UCLA Medical Center. He has also lectured for various conferences and seminars on multiple topics. In addition to being a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr Lee has also attained the highest level of board certification offered by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. This certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery has been awarded to less than five percent of podiatrists nationally.

Harold Schoenhaus, DPM, FACFAS is a board-certified foot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a past president and current fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds staff appointments and operating privileges at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital and Chestnut Hill hospital. Dr Schoenhaus' research and clinical interests are in biomechanics, pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery, including joint replacement surgery and pediatric podiatric surgery. Moreover, Dr Schoenhaus is the surgical editor for PRESENT e-Learning Systems, an online medical education and networking resource dedicated to improving the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals throughout the world. He is a nationally recognized lecturer and pioneer in the field of lower extremity pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery. Dr Schoenhaus has authored several landmark articles in peer-reviewed journals and books. In 2015 Dr Schoenhaus was the recipient of the Gallery of Success Award from Temple University.

Amar Amin, MD received his undergraduate degrees from UC Berkeley, BS Business Administration and BA Molecular Cell Biology. Dr Amin went to medical school at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He did his radiology residency at Maricopa Integrated Health, mini fellowship in Interventional Radiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging and a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of California, Irvine. His academic interests are: Peripheral Arterial Disease/Critical Limb Ischemia/Limb Salvage, Interventional Oncology, Uterine Artery Embolization, Venous Disease Dr Amin has extensive experience with the treatment of hemodialysis circuit management, peripheral arterial disease, treatment of portal hypertension/TIPS/BRTO, and interventional oncology/embolization.

Dylan Bach, MD, MBA is a board-certified Clinical Pathologist and has extensive experience in the clinical laboratory. He received his Medical Doctorate at University of California San Diego and completed his residency in clinical and anatomical pathology at University of California Irvine. He went on to complete his clinical fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. He was the Medical Director of Clinical Chemistry, Pathology Informatics and Toxicology at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. Dr Bach is the current clinical pathology director at Bach Diagnostics. He is well known for his work in clinical pathology and received the Warren L. Bostick Award for Excellence and the John Budd Golden Scope Award.

Jaminelli Banks, DPM is faculty at White Memorial Medical Center. In 2004, she received a summa cum laude BS biology and Chemistry degree from the University of New Mexico. From 2005-2007, she then spent two years at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health completing her post graduate medical education and research studying signaling pathways in lung cancer. Dr Banks received her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2011 and completed a dual surgical residency program and limb salvage research fellowship at Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center in 2019. Later, Dr Banks completed a second fellowship in Diabetic Limb Salvage Surgical Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas where she performed limb salvage and advanced surgical reconstruction on over 1,000 patients in one year. In 2020, Dr Banks joined White Memorial Medical Center (WMMC) and serves as faculty to foot and ankle surgical residents. While at WMMC, she has been instrumental in the development of a research and clinical residency program for diabetic limb salvage, sports injuries, arthroscopy, and traumatic and post-traumatic conditions of the foot and ankle. Dr Banks has made significant contributions to scientific literature in the fields of diabetic foot management and reconstruction.

Alan Bass, DPM, FACPM, CPC, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management and has been in private practice in Manalapan, New Jersey for over 25 years. Dr Bass is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Over his entire career, Dr Bass has been involved with business and practice management, having previously served as Medical Director and Senior Consultant for NEMO Health. Realizing the needs of podiatrists nationwide Dr Bass left NEMO Health at the end 2018 and in January 2019, he began his own consulting firm JARALL Medical Management Consulting, providing practice management services practice valuations, reputation management services and much more. In January 2020, Dr Bass, along with Dr Paul Kesselman formed PARE Coding and Compliance Consulting, a firm dedicated to assisting doctors with coding, auditing, and compliance issues. Dr Bass is also a past-president of the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. He also is active with the American Podiatric Medical Association, currently serving on the Communication committee and having served on the Resolutions committee.

Nicholas J Bevilacqua, DPM, FACFAS

Nicholas J Bevilacqua, DPM, DFACFAS is a board certified, fellowship-trained, foot and ankle surgeon. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University and then graduated Magna Cum Laude from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his internship and surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers in New York. Subsequently, he went on to complete an additional year of fellowship training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and limb salvage at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. Dr Bevilacqua also completed a fellowship at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics in Kurgan, Russia. Dr Bevilacqua is board certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is trained and certified in Total Ankle Replacement surgery and is one of a few surgeons in Bergen County actively performing the surgery. He was selected as Bergen County's Top Doctors for 2019 by Bergen Magazine. He has written extensively about foot and ankle surgery and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has also written many book chapters on the subject. Dr Bevilacqua continues to lecture at the state and national levels. Dr Bevilacqua is a member of the Surgical Skills Committee for ACFAS. He is also a member of the Medical Education Committee for Holy Name Hospital and Medical Center.​

Christopher Bromley, DPM, FACFAS currently practices foot and ankle surgery in Delray Beach, Florida. Dr Bromley's specialty within the group is Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Homeopathy. Dr Bromley has been passionate about nutrition and complementary medicine since entering private practice. He completed his surgical residency in 1992 in Baltimore, MD. His training included such prestigious hospitals as the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. Robert G Frykberg, DPM, MPH is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976. Dr Frykberg went on to complete his residency training at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He served as the President of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society and a Member of the Board of Registration in Podiatry. From 1992 to 1994, he attended the Harvard School of Public Health and graduated with a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in quantitative methods. After 21 years of private practice, Dr Frykberg accepted the position as Clinical Dean of the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery prior to moving to Phoenix. After 15 years of dedicated service to our Veterans, Dr Frykberg has decided to retire from his role as Chief of Podiatry at the Phoenix VA Medical Center and as Director of the Phoenix VA Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program. He continues to hold the academic rank of Professor, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and Adjunct Professor, Midwestern University Program in Podiatric Medicine. His research and writing interests have included all facets of lower extremity disorders, but are specifically focused on diabetic foot ulcers, infections, Charcot foot, and wound care. The author of nearly 100 peer-reviewed publications, he has also been the Editor of two textbooks: The High-Risk Foot in Diabetes Mellitus (1991) and the Diabetic Charcot Foot (2010). His expertise in the Diabetic Foot translated into hundreds of speaking invitations nationally and internationally with numerous lecture engagements in China, India, Russia, South America, the UK, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia, Italy, and across Europe.

Daniel T Hall, IV, was raised in Newburgh, Indiana, a small town in rural Southern Indiana where compassion and care for one's community were ingrained in his beliefs from a young age. He excelled in the classroom graduating from Castle High School with honors. He shined on the soccer field but chose to pursue a career in medicine. Dr Hall attended Indiana University on a pre-medical scholarship and graduated with distinction earning a bachelors degree in chemistry. Following completion of his undergraduate work, he secured a merit scholarship to attend the William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University where he earned his doctorate and graduated in the top 20% of his class. He completed his residency training at the nationally recognized South Miami Hospital of Baptist Health in Miami, Florida where he served as chief resident and performed over 2,000 procedures. Dr Hall is trained in numerous surgical techniques with an emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, including diabetic limb salvage with internal/external fixation and cosmetic foot surgery. Additionally, he learned various skin closure and skin grafting techniques to minimize scar visibility and accelerate wound healing under the direction of renowned plastic surgeons at South Miami Hospital. Dr Hall has developed a keen interest in diabetic foot care and limb salvage, and he has co-authored multiple publications in Podiatry Today and Podiatry Management on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery techniques and post-operative care in the diabetic population. He also served as a volunteer participant in the Yucatan Crippled Children's Project (YCCP) co-sponsored by Barry University and the International Foot and Ankle Foundation in Merida, Mexico during which he earned valuable experience in pediatric foot and ankle deformity treatment and surgical correction. Dr Hall also served as a surgical clinical course leader for the Miami-Dade College Physician Assistant program, discussing common foot and ankle injuries and participating in multiple suture workshops. After the completion of his residency training, Dr. Hall co-founded Louisiana Foot and Ankle Specialists in Lake Charles, Louisiana with his wife, Dr Mallory Przybylski. He is Board Qualified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She serves as faculty in an International MSK Fellowship with special interest in coaching expert level radiologists in foot and ankle imaging. She is a leader in podiatric radiology, developing curricula for academic programs with a broad experience from delivering grand rounds to publishing articles and book chapters on the shoulder, knee, and ankle . In addition to her active Radiologist practice, her productive career currently includes educating and coaching healers while providing resources to Help Heal our Healers within the Current Crisis of Physician Burnout. With her Cofounding of GrooveMDs.com, her team is active in raising awareness to empower physicians. Additionally, she is currently serving on the American College of Radiology Arts Task Force dedicated to physician wellness, highlighting Art as a source of our Physician Wellness. Alton R. Johnson Jr, DPM, FACPM, FASPS, CWSP is currently the Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Univeristy of Michigan Medical School. He is also the Director of Social Media Communications and Attending Physician, Podiatric Limb Preservation, Wound Care and Diabetes Related Lower Extremity Communications Fellowship. Dr Alton is an Attending Physician, Family Medicine Residency Program, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology, and Diabetes-Podiatry (MEND) at Michigan Medicine-University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Dr Johnson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Barry University. In 2012, he attended the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. While at KSUCPM, he was a recipient of the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award, KSUCPM MINT Scholarship, APMA National Scholarship, and North Central Academy of Podiatric Medicine Scholarship. Dr Johnson also served as the face of KSUCPM serving as a Student Ambassador, Academic Council Student Representative and serving as the White Coat Ceremony's Gonfalon Carrier. In addition, as a podiatric medical student, Dr Johnson published several research posters focused on geriatric fall secondary to foot deformities. After graduating from podiatric medical school in 2016, Dr Johnson went on to complete a three-year Podiatric Medicine Surgery Residency (PMSR+RRA) at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, FL. While at AHMC, Dr Johnson served as chief resident in his third year. Dr Johnson was part of AHMC's back-to-back to back ResEdSummit Midwest Residency Rumble 1st Place championship teams (2016, 2017, 2018). Dr Johnson has also managed to present multiple research projects at The Future of Regenerative Medicine Congress, ResEd Summit Midwest Conferences, and Symposium of Advanced Wound Care. During his third year of residency, Dr Johnson was able to publish a peer-reviewed journal article on regenerative medicine. His research emphasis has been focused on regenerative medicine, diabetic limb salvage techniques, and rare dermatological and bone pathologies.

Frank Kase, DPM, FACFAS earned his DPM from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976 and completed a surgical/medical residency program at the Community Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona in 1977. He has been active and influential in the California Podiatric Medical Association, serving as its President from 2003-2004. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He received the President's Award, American Podiatric Medical Association in 2018 and is the youngest recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award California Podiatric Medical Association, which he was awarded in 2015.

Harris L Klear, DPM has been engaged in the practice of podiatry since 1973. His specialties include foot orthopedics, reconstructive surgery, foot and ankle problems, and sports related medicine. Dr Klear hails from the Philadelphia region where he attended the esteemed Central High School and Temple University. Dr Klear received his D.P.M. degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine now Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Following graduation, Dr Klear served as a surgical resident at Parkview Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr Klear has served the Burlington County, New Jersey area throughout his career. Marie Williams, DPM, DABPS, DHLS, is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr Williams was the first clinical dean at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and is currently an Adjunct Professor for the school. Dr Williams has been in private practice since 1984. She is currently the Chairman of the Department of Podiatry at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. She has been involved in residency training since 1986 and a Program Director in Podiatric Surgery and Medicine since 1988. Dr Williams is a speaker in the field of foot and ankle surgery as well as limb salvage. She has published several articles on the healing of complex wounds and limb salvage, while also authoring a chapter: Bone Infections in "Foot and Ankle Radiology". In August 2014, Dr Williams was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts along with her teammates from Immaculata College. Their team, the Mighty Macs, captured three consecutive Championships. They were considered trailblazers for women sports, and in the 70s they help bring about Title 9 and equality for women in sports. In June 2015 they received the trailblazer award in the women’s basketball hall of fame. Dr Williams was recently requested to be a Keynote Speaker for Immaculata University and received the Doctor of Humane Letters for her humanitarian efforts in May 2018.

Dane K Wukich, MD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern, where he holds the Dr Charles F Gregory Chair in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also the Medical Director of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern University Hospitals. Dr Wukich received his undergraduate education from Carnegie-Mellon University and earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency and orthopaedic surgery residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. As an Army Medical Corps officer, Dr Wukich served as chief of orthopaedic surgery in Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He achieved the rank of Major with the U.S. Army, receiving several Army Commendation Medals and an Army Achievement Medal. Dr Wukich also received the Southwest Asia Services Medal and the National Defense Service Ribbon. Dr Wukich is a nationally renowned foot and ankle specialist, educator, lecturer, and researcher. He has written more than 100 papers and given invited lectures around the globe. He serves as a peer reviewer for 11 journals and is the author or co-author of several book chapters dealing with foot and ankle problems in athletes and patients with diabetes. His research interest includes the complications of circular external fixation in patients with diabetes, foot and ankle problems in post-transplant patients, and treatment of spastic deformities of the foot and ankle in patients with traumatic brain injury and/or stroke. He remains actively involved in the education of orthopaedic surgery not only around the world but also at UT Southwestern with orthopaedic residents. Dr Wukich is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, the American Orthopaedic Association, and the American Diabetes Association.
